- Device & Browser Data: IP address, operating system, browser type, device identifiers, and extension version.
- Product Context Data: URLs, product titles, prices, and marketplace identifiers of items you view (used solely to generate fair value estimates).
- Cookies & Analytics: Small files stored on your device to personalize your experience and analyze traffic. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
- Market Data We Aggregate (Non-Personal)
Public Pricing Data: We collect publicly available pricing information from marketplaces (eBay, Poshmark, StockX, etc.) to power our fair value models. This data is anonymized and aggregated—it does not identify individual users.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide Core Services: Generate fair value estimates, confidence bands, price projections, and alerts.
- Personalize Your Experience: Show relevant product recommendations, watchlists, and pricing insights tailored to your browsing behavior.

9. Browser Extension-Specific Privacy
a. Permissions & Access
The Revalve browser extension requests the following permissions:
- Active Tab: To detect product pages and display fair value overlays.
- Storage: To save your preferences, watchlists, and pricing alerts locally.
- Network Access: To fetch real-time market data and compute fair value estimates.
We do NOT:
- Track your browsing activity on non-product pages.
- Access sensitive data (passwords, payment information, personal documents).
- Sell or share your browsing history with third parties.
b. Data Minimization
We only collect product-related data (URLs, titles, prices) necessary to generate fair value estimates. All other browsing activity is ignored.
c. Local Storage
Preferences and watchlists are stored locally on your device. You can clear this data anytime via browser settings or by uninstalling the extension.
10. Third-Party Links & Integrations
Our Services may link to or integrate with external platforms:
- Marketplaces (eBay, Poshmark, StockX, Amazon, etc.)
- Payment Processors (Stripe)
- Analytics Tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude)
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please review their policies before providing any information.
If you connect third-party accounts (e.g., eBay seller dashboard), we access only the data you authorize (e.g., sales history for performance insights). You can revoke access anytime via your account settings.
11. Children's Privacy
Revalve is not intended for users under 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.
